Invasive Plants in the Southern Adirondack Region

Invasive plants are a big problem throughout the United States. Our area is no exception. Nationally invasive plants affect agriculture, wildlife and cost the economy billions of dollars per year.  Unfortunately many plant sellers and nurseries continue to sell these undesirable plants which wreak havoc on the environment.  This is due to 2 factors: greed and ignorance.  Help wildlife and your own economic self interest by buying native species and advocating for your local nurseries to stop selling invasive plant species.
